Collarbones is a cross-border collaboration between Adelaide's Travis Cook (Cyst Impaled) and Sydney's Marcus Whale (Scissor Lock).
Formed over the internet in late 2007, Collarbones intermittently circulated songs on blogs and Sydney and Melbourne community radio before releasing the Waiting for the Ghosts EP independently in 2009.
In early 2010 they received a Soundclash grant from the Australia Council which helped the band release the single Kill Off The Vowels, cut from their upcoming album Iconography.
Having toured extensively in 2011, supporting the likes of Daedelus and Baths, Collarbones are shaping up for more new music and shows in 2012.
Their second album Die Young is out now through Two Bright Lakes/Remote Control.
