Since their conception in 2010 GLASS VAULTS have released two EP’s on American Label Jukboxr, played to capacity crowds inside empty swimming pools and forests, topped b-net radio charts, toured the East Coast of the U.S.A, taken up residence in New York and had considerable praise
across the blogosphere. With a sound described as “Glacial Pop” and “Stoner Gospel” these Wellington natives sure are a band to watch.

ESTÈRE is a girl with an MPC she likes to call Lola. She produces all her own songs with Lola, mostly at home in her pajamas. ESTÈRE plays/records a mixture of bass, synth, drums, vocal harmonies, keyboard, whistles, claps, kazoo, desk tapping and anything else that might take her fancy then layers her production with pulsating rhythms and evocative melodies that adhere to the genre of Electric Blue Witch hop.

With dark voices, neon beats, and ghostly electronics that evoke the apocalyptic modernism of a 1980s Blade Runner, it may come as a surprise to learn that BLACK CITY LIGHTS hail from the quiet bay city of Wellington, New Zealand. Having polished their live set by supporting the likes of Grimes, Baths, and Van She, BLACK CITY LIGHTS will be returning in November from a 3-month, coast-to-coast tour of the United States in support of their debut album Another Life.

Since exploding out of the scene-defining Two Bright Lakes community as one half of Oscar + Martin in 2010, the Melbourne based OSCAR KEY SUNG has received international acclaim for his refreshingly spacious productions, buoyant performances, and a sumptuous voice that harkens back to a classic lineage of heart-on-sleeve r ‘n’ b frontmen. Bringing in 2013 with perhaps his biggest breakthrough yet, Key Sung was handpicked by Mercury Music Prize-nominated mc Ghostpoet and Brooklyn-based artist MeLo-X to produce their debut release as MELOGHOST, ‘WecanWORKitout’.

Flo Wilson is a composer and vocal artist based in Wellington. A current student in Sonic Arts at the New Zealand School of Music, her practice strongly looks towards the voice as a means of engagement through performance. Under her alias FOXTROT, she has recently completed a trans- Tasman tour, including playing Camp A Low Hum, Chronophonium, Lines of Flight festivals, and has also supported Baths, Dan Deacon and Don McGlashan.

SKYMNING is a bedroom music producer based in Wellington. Using basic loops and melodies, SKYMNING has released various EPs and remixes via his Soundcloud and Bandcamp pages, as well as various collaborations with other Kerosene Comic Book affiliates Totems, Race Banyon & Yvnalesca.
