SEVENTH Gallery is excited to announce its annual fundraiser for 2013, proudly presented by The Workers Club, Fitzroy. SEVENTH Gallery will transform The Workers Club into a contemporary gallery from Wednesday 11 December to 18 December. The opening night will feature acts Luke Naher (Naysayer and Gilsun), Martin King (of Oscar + Martin), Sui Zhen, DJ Jen Moore contemporary performance artists, and more! Exhibiting artists include prominent Melbourne contemporaries Darren Sylvester, Christopher LG Hill, Ross Coulter, Steaphan Paton, Valetina Palonen, Melanie Upton and many, many more.The SEVENTH Gallery Annual Fundraiser will be the biggest arts party of the year. $12 jugs all night and plenty of amazing prizes to be won!
Always an opportunity to snap-up fantastic artworks in the aim of supporting SEVENTH gallery, funds generated from the exhibition will contribute to providing greater opportunities for developing artists in Victoria and ensuring that contemporary art maintains a strong presence in Fitzroy. SEVENTH is an artist run exhibition space that presents new work by the best emerging contemporary artists in Victoria.
Located on Gertrude Street, SEVENTH has been a key part of the Fitzroy and Melbourne arts community. A non-profit organisation, SEVENTH provides a platform for diverse and dynamic arts practices currently developing locally, interstate, and internationally. Over our 13 years of operation, the gallery has exhibited the work of over 1,000 emerging artists and established artists, curators, and local collectives, from a diverse range of disciplines.
