An all day, all ages music festival to raise money for a project 6 months in the planning.
Come hang with bands that’ll be playing this awesome event and dance to some awesome sounds from some prominent Melbourne artists.
The Music Generation are a not-for-profit in Melbourne who run basic music services i.e. music tuition, short courses, jam sessions etc. but all our profits go towards running a music education program in Pokhara, Nepal and in Balmandir, India.
They are excited to be working with Janapriya Higher Secondary School in Nepal and Jeejebhoy Dadabhoy Zarthoshti Nishal in India to bring their community opportunties that they would otherwise not have access too.
The event will be held at Shebeen on Manchester Lane.
“At Shebeen we’re a little bit different.”
100% of their profits are donated and it’s your drink of choice that determines where they go. Every beer, wine, cider and tequila directs profits to a funding partner in the country where that drink came from. They’ve made sure your money ends up in the right pockets by scouring the globe to find some of the smartest organisations tackling poverty in the developing world. So sit back and leave them to do the hard work while you feel good – even tomorrow morning.
Hosted as part of the Changemakers Festival run by Six Australia.
