Hand drawn (2011)

As well as being one half of amazing musical duo Oscar+Martin, Oscar Vincent Slorach Thorn is also an accomplished and experimental visual artist and animator, his work incorporating collage, photocopies, painting, sound and animation.


Portraits 09 (1) (2009)

Lucy Fahey is an animator and visual artist. Using hand drawn and stop motion techniques her practice explores the tradition of portraiture in the context of the moving image. She has collaborated with Alice Glenn on the music video for Hello Satellites' Heartbeat Fast As A Rabbit and has produced an amazing hand drawn animation for Nick Huggins' sophomore album Five Lights, to be released in the second half of 2011.

Elizabeth Barnett
Encountering something interesting (2011)

Elizabeth Barnett's practice encompasses printmaking, painting, illustration and more recently, intricate textile and paper collage. She has collaborated with Blake Byron-Smith on many visual works for the label including posters and animations. Elizabeth is one half of the management of formidable new studio space Schoolhouse Studios in Abbotsford.


Tone - trailer (2011)

Blake Byron-Smith is a filmmaker, animator, singer and record spinner among other professions. He handles much of the visual side of Two Bright Lakes, making posters, artwork, projections and the like. He is currently developing Tone among other animation and interactive projects.


Dancing (2011) Music by Oliver Mann

Alice Glenn is a filmmaker, photographer and visual artist. She is one half of Schoollhouse Studios, one half of No Lights No Lycra and has produced some amazing video works for many of the musicians at Two Bright Lakes. She's pretty busy right now, amongst other things she is working on a new video for Oliver Mann.


I Am Eleven - trailer (2011)

Genevieve Bailey writes, directs, edit, shoots and produces drama, comedy, documentary films and music videos. She has made over 40 films and counting. Genevieve's films have screened internationally at festivals and have picked up over 25 awards to date. She directed the video for Nick Huggins' The Movie We Made with her partner Henrik Nordstrom and is collaborating with the two again on her new documentary project I Am Eleven.


I Had A Dream I Went To Coney Island (2008)

Sherwin Akbarzadeh is an Australian-based director and cinematographer. His work has screened at leading film and arts festivals including the Sydney Bienalle, LOOP Barcelona and the Ann Arbor Film Festival. In 2009, Sherwin's short film I Had A Dream I Went To Coney Island was selected by Spike Lee to win the Spike Lee Award at the Babelgum Online Film Festival. Sherwin directed the excellent video for Kid Sam's song We're Mostly Made of Water.


Beginning, Middle & End - trailer (2011)

Ryan Alexander Lloyd is a filmmaker who originally hails from New Zealand and now lives in Melbourne creating beautifully shot films and collaborating with local musicians and artists. He has captured some excellent footage of Oscar+Martin's live show and is currently at work on a video for the duo among other film projects.

Lucien AlpersteinTitle unknown (2011)

Lucien Alperstein is an amazing photographer, writer and doer from Sydney who has captured Collarbones and many other subjects on film. There are some stunning photographs on his blog.
